Wildskies Resort Wedding

Capturing a fall wedding at Wild Skies was like stepping into a fairy tale. Nestled in autumn leaves the whole day was bathed in warm, golden light. The couple’s laid-back nature made the day flow effortlessly. As the photographer, it was a privilege to document their love story, where every detail seemed to reflect their easygoing spirit and the beauty of the season. This set is a mix of film + digital.

The bride chose to go barefoot for her entire wedding day, ditched her shoes and sank into the earthy vibe of their venue immersed in nature.

Practice makes perfect, right?

I mixed in a new type of analog film for a few scenes. It gave a timeless grain and amplified the bright warm colours in the brides floral choices. Ektar 100! I definitely could’ve pushed the exposure up, some of the shots felt a little under exposed.
